Saturday, August 15 — Pastor David Bracetti

• Week 3 of our current series, Kingdom Culture: Becoming the Church God Intended — ten weeks on what it looks like when a congregation takes real ownership of its mission and lives out the values of God's Kingdom in ordinary life.
• Paul writes hospitality as a command, not a mood. This Sabbath we look at what it costs, and what it opens.
• Missed a week? Past messages are available on our Messages page and wherever you listen to podcasts.

Food Distribution-August 15

• Come at 4:00 p.m. Drive through our porte cochere and we'll place a box directly in your trunk. If you're walking or arriving by bike, you are just as welcome — you do not need a car to receive food.
• There is no registration. There is no paperwork. No documentation of any kind is required. First come, first served, until the boxes are gone. We'll also ask if you'd like prayer — and if you do, we'll pull to the side and pray with you right there.

• 
  After the worship service — Bring a picnic-style sack lunch and stay for fellowship in the Fellowship Room. Lunch is not provided, so pack your own.
• 2:00 p.m. — Packing begins. We fill Blessing Boxes with essentials for our neighbors. No experience needed and no minimum commitment. If you'd rather head home after service and return at 2:00, that works just as well.
• 4:00 p.m. — Distribution begins.
• Sign up to serve: Not required, but genuinely helpful — knowing how many hands to expect lets us plan the afternoon. ⚠️ Sign Up Here

Food Distribution is held each month on the Saturday following the second Tuesday.

Youth Church-August 15 & 29

• Middle and high school students meet during the worship hour for Youth Church, led by Andrew Krivda.
• A leader announces the dismissal at the appropriate point in the service and students move to the youth room — the front left classroom off the sanctuary.
• Students are also invited to join the Food Distribution afterward.

Florida ABC Express Delivery-August 16 @ 11:00am

• The Florida ABC delivery truck arrives Sunday morning for pre-order pickup only. The order deadline has passed and no orders will be taken on site. The truck departs at 11:30 a.m.

Summer Women’s Bible Study-August 20

• Led by Sharon Foster. Open to all women — come once, come every time, or start this week. Nothing you've missed will keep you from joining the conversation.
• Please note: no childcare is available at this study.

Men’s Ministry-Beginning September

• Monday, September 14 — Mastermind session. The fall schedule gets built this night. Come help shape it.
• Monday, September 21 — First official meeting.

Marlene Smith’s 90th Birthday Celebration-August 29 @ 1:00pm

• Join us in celebrating Marlene Smith's 90th birthday. Lunch is provided. No RSVP required.
• No gifts, please — cards are warmly welcomed. All ages, including our teens and young people, are invited to come and honor her.
  

Coming in September-Save the Date

Spiritual Gifts Seminar — The Kingdom Culture series has been building toward one conviction: the church God intended is not run by a few while everyone else observes. Scripture is direct about it — every believer has been given something by the Spirit, and it was given for the good of the whole body (1 Corinthians 12:7; 1 Peter 4:10; Ephesians 4:11–12). This two-part seminar is the practical next step. Across two Sabbaths we'll look at what the Bible says about spiritual gifts, how to recognize what God has placed in you, and where that fits within the life and mission of this congregation. Times, format, and sign-up details will be posted here as they're confirmed. Mark both dates now.
