Welcome to the weekly roundup 👋
We gather on the seventh-day Sabbath, the day God blessed and set apart at creation (Genesis 2:2–3) and called us to remember (Exodus 20:8–11). It's a weekly day of rest, worship, and connection, and you're welcome to join us.
⛪Kingdom Culture Week 9: Builders of Peace
We’re in the second-to-last week of Kingdom Culture: Becoming the Church God Intended, a series about what it looks like when a whole congregation lives out the values of God’s Kingdom in everyday life. This week Pastor David opens Colossians 3, where Paul describes the character of people who build peace: compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, forgiveness, and above all, love. If you’ve been around church conflict, or any conflict, this message is for you.
Next Sabbath (Oct 24): The series concludes with “The Church the City Cannot Ignore.”
Sabbath Schedule
- Bible Study/Sabbath School (all ages): 9:30 AM
- Worship Experience: 11:00 AM
First time visiting? You’re welcome here exactly as you are. Come as you are, and stay for as long as you’d like.
🥫Food Distribution
Our volunteer-run Food Distribution is open to anyone. It’s first come, first served, with no registration and no documentation required. If you or someone you know could use groceries, come Saturday at 4:00 PM.
Why do we do this on the Sabbath? Because that’s what the Sabbath was made for. In Isaiah 58, God ties true Sabbath-keeping to sharing bread with the hungry, and Jesus said plainly that it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath (Matthew 12:12). Serving our neighbors is part of how we rest in God and reflect His heart.
Want to help? We need as many volunteers as possible for packing and handout. No experience needed, and families are welcome to serve together.
Next distribution: Saturday, November 14 (packing 2:00 PM, handout 4:00 PM). Food drop-off is Tuesday, November 10, at 12:00 PM, and we need 2–3 volunteers who can help unload. Some boxes are heavy.
🎒Youth Church
Middle and high school students meet with Youth Church leader Andrew Krivda during the Worship Experience for an open discussion of Pastor David’s sermon. It’s a space for teens to ask real questions and talk honestly about faith. Youth Church meets on alternating Sabbaths; the next session after Oct 24 is November 7.
🍂Women’s Ministry: Candlelight Thanksgiving Potluck
Women of Naples SDA and their friends are invited to welcome the Sabbath together by candlelight. It will be an evening of good food, gratitude, and real connection. It’s a chance to build friendships, do life together, and give thanks for the community God has given us.
What to bring: Women’s Ministry is providing the turkey and drinks. We ask each guest to bring one dish from any of these three categories: a vegetarian dish, a side dish, or a dessert. Please have dishes prepared before arrival as we have no means to reheat and warm.
Please sign up whether or not you’re bringing a dish. It helps us plan for a head count. If bringing a dish isn’t possible right now, that’s completely okay. Select the option to attend only, and come enjoy the evening with us.
Please note: This is a women-only evening. Friends and guests are welcome. Childcare will not be provided.

There’s no full group meeting scheduled at the moment. In the meantime, men are encouraged to form small groups on their own for study, accountability, and encouragement. The next group gathering will be announced soon. Men of God is open to all men; church membership is not required.
